When I’m out with my husband, hiking or taking a local day trip, I normally travel with my point and shoot and DSLR camera. While I have a heavy-duty camera backpack that I pack with my camera gear when I’m traveling, I don’t normally haul it all around for day trips which is why I was excited to receive the Sling-Back Bag. I can store my phone, battery charger, business cards, point and shoot camera and DSLR in this handy bag and hit the road. I recently went hiking with it and loved it. It’s very comfortable and can be worn cross-body or over the shoulder. If the large compartment where I stored my Canon camera was padded, I’d use this all the time as my go-to camera bag for day trips. This bag is shown in Black but is also available in other colors and patterns and sells for $48. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/b2/35/67/b23567ee7be1141a6f2112861a0b0828--phone--great-friends.jpg

Recently, tote bags have been sold as a more eco-friendly replacement for disposable plastic bags given they can be reused multiples times. They have also been given away as promotional items. A study by the UK Environment Agency found that cotton canvas bags have to be reused at least 327 times before they can match the carbon expenditure of a single disposable plastic bag.[1] Meanwhile, tote bags made from recycled polypropylene plastic require 26 reuses to match. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/cf/ee/66/cfee668d3577907d69270fbf3875ddec.jpg
The archetypal tote is made of sturdy cloth, perhaps with thick leather at its handles or bottom; leather versions often have a pebbled surface. Common fabrics include heavy canvas, possibly dyed, or treated to resist moisture and mold. Jute is another traditional material, though less popular. In recent decades, heavy nylon and other easy-care synthetics have become common, although these may degrade with prolonged sun-exposure. Many of today's inexpensive or free totes are often made from recycled matter, from minimally-processed natural fibers, or from byproducts of processes that refine organic materials. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/d0/03/b6/d003b6cba029073e2179c12f8c72205b---gifts-thirty-one-gifts.jpg
I purchased a lunch thermal tote (playful parade pattern) and a zip-top organzing utility tote. I use the utility tote for carrying files and my laptop when I work in schools, but I use my lunch bag all the time! I get lots of compliments on it - instead of having my initials which is trendy right now, I got my name embroidered on it in Hot Pink. It's perfect for me... professional but fun. At first I thought it was too big, but now I love the size. I can carry lunch, dinner, and snacks in it and everything stays pretty cold because it's thermal. Just Awesome! https://i.pinimg.com/236x/1a/c1/99/1ac19908f7c419d07e71e1a3a9e11282--four-four-four-days.jpg

I love the flexibility of the Large Utility Tote. I have several large and deluxe size totes and each one serves a different purpose. I use them to store camping gear on outdoor trips, contain my portable kitchen for road trips, and as my suitcase. I can easily pack all my clothes, including my fashion boots, and other necessary items for an entire week in this tote paired with the see-through lid so I can easily see what is stored inside.  The Deluxe Utility Tote is larger and has outside pockets.  The Large Utility Tote sells for $35 and the Deluxe sell for $50. Several pattern options are available. You can purchase  Top-a-Tote see-through lid to complement your tote for $10. Monogrammed personalization of the tote is extra.

I LOVE the Around Town Tote. I took this on a trip to the Smokies with me earlier this week and it worked perfectly. This roomy tote stored my laptop, planner, extra pens, chargers and travel brochures. It easily held everything I needed to sneak out of my hotel room and into the hotel lobby to work at night and I love the Skies for You Pebbles color. It is available in four different colors and many personalization options for $78. Personalization is extra. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/84/44/7e/84447ec2d478acdca02815f299742f2b.jpg
A 2014 study of U.S. consumers found that the 28% of respondents who own of reusable bags forgot them on approximately 40% of their grocery trips and used them only about 15 times each before being discarded. About half of this group typically chose to use plastic bags over reusable ones, despite owning reusable bags and recognizing their benefits.[2] An increasing number of jurisdictions have mandated the phase-out of lightweight plastic bags to reduce land and ocean pollution. In order to provide an incentive for consumers to remember reusable bags more often these laws establish a minimum price for bags at checkout and require either paper, reusable fabric tote bags, or thick reusable plastic bags. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/6f/80/18/6f801801e945d56de2b2876e72c74771.jpg
