One is a laptop bag that I liked and decided to turn into a diaper bag. It's about the same width and height, but it's only about 4" deep. It could use a few more pockets since it only has the one... the laptop compartment - I use it for diapers, wipes and changing pad. Everything else is in a jumbled heap in the main compartment. Eh, it works. Slightly annoying, but it works. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/fd/fc/fe/fdfcfe0b666d8efd99c5a85c9383ba54--red-carpets-make-it.jpg
We did not consider cult-favorite brand Timi & Leslie because almost all of its bags are made with leather and weigh 2 pounds or more. The OiOi and JJ Cole diaper bags are also on the heavier side, according to their online specs. We were intrigued by some of the newest diaper bags available, such as the Boken Diaper Bag, a lightweight, convertible diaper bag, and the Paperclip Diaper Bag, aimed at dads, with a built-in changing station for when a changing table isn’t available in the men’s restroom. (Like the Petunia Pickle Bottom boxy backpack, the changing pad folds out from the front of the bag; the Paperclip also has a wall on both sides.). Unfortunately, enough customers complained about broken zippers with the Boken Diaper Bag that we decided to hold off on field-testing it, and at the time of our review, the Paperclip Diaper Bag cost over $200.

I loved the SkipHop when we had two kids, but it didn’t hold up well and I decided a back pack was a must. As my younger boys grew, I’d take one of their Pottery Barn backpacks to amusement parks, MLB games, the zoo, etc. They worked great for these trips but I wasn’t a fan of the robots or Spider-Man. For baby number 3, I got a Vera Bradley backpack that I love. The laptop compartment is perfect for a changing pad, diapers, and wipes. The rest of the bag has a good amount of pockets. Also because it’s not technically a diaper bag, I will continue using it as needed after we are out of the baby stage.
Want to babywear but still need to carry a diaper bag—is that even possible? Yes, it is. It’s also safe and can be comfortable when done right. You just need a front carry baby carrier and a backpack style diaper bag. Put your carrier on first, then put your baby inside the carrier and finally put your backpack diaper bag on. When your child is bigger and you switch to a back carry position, you can also wear a backpack diaper bag on your front. It may not look the best, but it can work if you need it to. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/59/2c/89/592c894e639595d47c7fcc145226ea9d.jpg
This is our highest-ranking convertible diaper bag, and we love the style and functionality of this versatile and relatively unisex diaper bag system. The bag converts from a regular over-the-shoulder diaper bag, to a messenger bag, and to a super comfortable backpack with soft shoulder pads. So just when your arm or shoulder is getting sore, you can untuck the backpack straps from the side pocket, and off you go, in style and comfort. But it's not just versatile. This diaper bag is also super functional. It has outside and inside pockets, 3M baby bottle insulator pockets, and clever see-through plastic pockets inside so you can see what you're looking for before you go searching. It's relatively small, but we found it big enough for one baby, and the fact that you can open the main compartment nice and wide really helps you fit all your things in (and prevents you from randomly searching for things). But it does have a few drawbacks, given its high price (like $170). For this price, we would expect a bit higher quality on the fabrics and zippers. They're good, but not quite on par with the heavier duty zippers of a SOHO bag, or the easy-clean fabrics of a SkipHop bag. So while it's on our list of best diaper bags, and we think it's worthy of inclusion, these drawbacks will keep it a bit lower in our reviews and ratings. Interested? Skip Hop makes some excellent diaper bags, and this one is no exception. The Skip Hop Duo Signature has a slightly more modern styling than the classic lines and colors of the Grand Central models, and is shaped more like a tote or over-the-shoulder bag than it is a purse. It's narrow and deep rather than wide and short, and a bit smaller overall than the purse-shaped models, so it's good for someone who doesn't want to be lugging around a truly enormous diaper bag. It's also about the same width as most strollers, so it doesn't stick out on the sides a lot when you hang it on the handlebars. But while it's smaller overall, it's still super functional. It has 10 pockets, a separate insulated bottle holder, a breathable side pocket, a key ring clip, diaper changing pad, and a great interior liner. The Skip Hop Duo's main interior pocket is super deep and we loved the lining, it was soft but also rugged enough to make wipe-cleaning easy. The padded shoulder strap was comfortable, as were the padded carry-handles. We were able to fit everything in that we needed, including diapers, wipes, baby bottles, and cloths. Being relatively tall, we found that when it was fully loaded it did tend to topple over sometimes. We also found it less convenient to reach in and easily grab something, since things tended to get stacked on top of one another, so this design might not be for everyone. Also, the changing pad was a bit small relative to some others on this list. So, this Skip Hop Duo Signature model is an excellent diaper bag, with some minor drawbacks. Note that Skip Hop also makes a Skip Hop Duo Diaper Backpack that is very similar to this but in the backpack style, and is also very well-reviewed. Interested? Like a superhero, the B.F.F. bag transforms from an over-the-shoulder tote to a messenger bag to a backpack in an instant. It can take a beating too—its Teflon-coated material repels dirt and stains and is machine washable. And, parents swoon over the insulated bottle storage and memory-foam shoulder straps. But for those who need a ton of space for cloth diapers, twins or pumping equipment, this bag could run small. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/39/c7/e6/39c7e63ddfb731bf00d9fd55439e92f3.jpg

2) I'm letting go of guilt because...the right bottle will prevent any discomfort. It took us a bit of trial and error to find the right bottle that worked for my baby, but once we did, we rarely dealt with gas or discomfort―and the convenience of being able to pack along a meal for my child meant she never had to wait to eat when she was hungry. Dr. Brown's became my partner in this process, offering a wide variety of bottles and nipples designed to mimic the flow of my own milk and reduce colic and excess spitting up. When we found the right one, it changed everything. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/83/84/d2/8384d2104c47249147497afe050daa4c--lollipop-sticks-lollipop-candy.jpg

One of the standout features of the Skip Hop Duo is its combination of 10 open and zippered pockets, which make it the easiest bag for storing and quickly grabbing whatever you need, from a water bottle to tissues to sunscreen. The bag has four external pockets that are great for accessing things one-handed. Two are large front pockets that stay closed magnetically and can hold bottles of milk, other snacks, or diapers and wipes. Competitors’ bags have similar pockets, but the Skip Hop’s stand out for their simple but clever magnetic closure. Two additional elastic mesh pockets on the sides of the bag are capable of securely carrying a baby bottle, a Thermos of coffee, a large adult water bottle, or a big container of sunscreen. We found few diaper bags that have two open, external water-bottle pockets big enough to hold a reusable adult water bottle. Like most diaper bags, the Skip Hop also has an external slot on the back for its included changing pad (which is machine washable).
The easiest to clean of all the bags we tested, the Ju-Ju-Be B.F.F. was also the most versatile, with adjustable, removable straps that allow it to be carried as a cross-body messenger bag, backpack, shoulder bag, or tote. It was arguably the most stylish bag we picked, and definitely the most expensive. For the extra investment, the Ju-Ju-Be adds features not seen in our other picks, including some handy metal feet that elevate the bag off a dirty surface, and convenient touches like a felt-lined sunglasses pocket.
Lots of transformations happen when you have a baby. Among them: You stop being someone who carries a purse or a wallet and become someone who carries a diaper bag. It doesn’t matter how much of a minimalist mama or papa you are or aspire to be; the fact is, babies and toddlers need stuff—diapers, wipes, pacifiers, extra outfits, baby food pouches, snack puffs, etc., etc.,—and when you’re out in the world with your tiny human, you’re the one responsible for hauling it all around. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/09/ef/ef/09efefe83efeccd43da40b50850f3ab2.jpg

This is an enormous and stylish black vegan leather diaper bag with every pocket, compartment, and nook and cranny you need to make for a perfect journey with your baby! In our testing, this designer baby diaper bag received the most attention from other moms - every time we used it we got comments about how nice it is and questions about where we found it. And we were not surprised given just how nice this bag is. It is designed as a large tote, coming in at about 19" wide, 13" high, and 7" deep, meaning that it has nearly a full cubic foot of space inside, which is really cavernous! And it's not just inside space that makes this diaper bag amazing, it's also the two zippered outside pockets and the five additional outside pouches that are perfect for quick access to baby wipes, bottles, pacifiers, and the included changing pad (using the large back outside pocket). There is an amazing lined pocket on the front that can be used for anything wet - like a wet bathing suit or clothing, while keeping the rest of the bag and its contents dry. It also has two insulated pockets on the inside that are perfect for keeping a bottle or snack chilled during a trip, and a ton of additional space that is perfect for holding a nursing cover, blanket, change of clothes, and more. The changing pad comes with a little travel pouch that's the right size for a diaper and wipes when you want something to quickly bring with you to the changing table. It also includes a shoulder strap that you can use to carry it across your chest, and it also includes stroller straps to help you attach it to your stroller (but be careful with that!). We loved nearly everything about this black faux leather diaper bag, and thought it was an amazing addition to this year's diaper bag buying guide. The Honest Company also makes a backpack version of this bag, called the Honest Company City Backpack Diaper Bag, for about the same price, that is worth checking out if you prefer that style. Downfalls? Well if we're being really picky, the zippers were finicky sometimes, and the tote straps were a good size for holding with your hand or forearm but not quite big enough to put on your shoulder. But those are relatively minor points that are about our subjective experience. But one big challenge with this bag is the price, coming in at around $150 or so which seems expensive for a faux leather diaper bag. If you love the styling but want to save some cash, check out the Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Diaper Bag that has a very similar look and functionality but is a little bit smaller and only about half the price.
